While in Spain, Robin was part of the filming of a documentary about his great uncle, Peter Johnson and the 400 volunteers from British Columbia ( collectively known as the Mackenzie Papineau Battalion) who joined the International Brigades to fight fascism during the Spanish Civil War.  In this footage, Robin holds and marches with the Mackenzie Papineau Battalion flag - brought to the Jarama march for the first time.

In this footage, Robin and his sister Pam attempt to find the gravestones of their great uncle and the other 33 members of the International Brigade members originally buried in the cemetery.  Some stones that were previously inside the graveyard walls (white walls in background) are now lining a garden in the back parking lot, Working off of a list which identified the grave number of 34 International Brigades we went there early morning and Robin flipped all the gravestones he could to find the numbers on the list.  It was hard work but it paid off as one of the stones Robin flipped corresponded to a name on the list.  Robin does a rub to confirm.
